Business tycoon Todd Chrisley is having a tough time. The star is in prison for evasion of taxes and fraud. He and his Chrisley Knows Best co-star and wife Julie are currently serving their prison sentences. He recently gave an interview from inside the prison. In it, he described the prison conditions.
Todd called them “filthy”. Now, a millionaire might always find anything ‘common’ uncomfortable. But audiences found his experiences and prison conditions truly harrowing. And that is saying something, considering most people feel sorry for all the prisoners.

USA Network star Todd Chrisley is serving his 12-year prison sentence. And after hearing indirect reports of his condition, fans were in for a treat. The Chrisley Knows Best patriarch gave a telephone interview from prison. And, safe to say, his experiences shocked the audience.
When Todd gave his interview, fans thought it would be a regular check-in with the star. But then, they heard what he had to say, which was shocking. Todd described things as “disgustingly filthy.” He talked about the unsafe state of food and cat and rat infestations. Chrisley gave really grave descriptions.
Todd described the food as “at a minimum, a year” past its expiry. And then he went on to share a disgusting incident. Chrisley recalled how prison authorities used plastic to “protect” and cover food. But this wasn’t why it was disgusting. Apparently, they had covered the food because they were removing a ceiling with black mold. And when they took the ceiling out, a dead cat fell from it onto the food. Todd added that along with ‘bad’ food, they are also starving inmates, giving them only “1k calories a day”.
Chrisley had spoken about what he ate. He listed “tuna” and “peanut butter.” The star also talked about making “pasta” from the “commissary.” However, Todd then told people that the warden was cutting down on food to “break” Todd. And there is also the issue of some staff members wishing to “humble” Todd. The Chrisley Knows Best star heard them talking about “shackles” and “diesel therapy.” Allegedly, the prison authorities also “hold” emails between Todd and Julie.

A lot of surprising things came out of the interview. Fans got to know about the pathetic living conditions. But one thing surprised them the most. Somebody is blackmailing Savannah with Todd’s sleeping photos from prison!
The Chrisley Knows Best star had revealed that someone had clicked his photos. And the creepy part was that they were clicked while Todd was “sleeping.” TOdd then revealed that the ‘someone’ sent these photos to his daughter Savannah. And then they had asked Savannah to pay them “$2,600 a month” for Todd’s protection.
Chrisley also revealed that prison authorities punish him for his children’s wrongdoings. Apparently, since Savannah had ‘revealed’ appalling prison conditions, Chrisley suffered in prison. The fans really felt sorry for Todd after the interview.
