Shocking Tragedy: Sister Wives Cast Member’s Death Shocks Hollywood

‘Sister Wives’ star Janelle Brown says she’s ‘grateful’ for last family pic before son Garrison’s death

Janelle and Kody Brown shared on March 5 that their fourth child together had died.

“Sister Wives” star Janelle Brown shared the final family photo taken before the death of her son, Garrison Brown.

Janelle posted the photo on Instagram March 8, explaining in the caption that it was taken at the end of 2023 when the entire family had a chance to come together around the holidays.

The photo featured her family, including her six children whom she shares with her ex, Kody Brown, and her three grandchildren. For the occasion, the family all smiled as they posed in coordinating ensembles, each wearing a shade of green or burgundy to match the season.

In the caption, Janelle reflected on the family moment in the wake of the death of her third son.

“I had all my children together last Christmas,” she wrote. “It was amazing as it’s hard with everyone’s busy lives to coordinate time like this. I am extremely grateful now that we had pictures taken.

Janelle and Kody Brown, who announced their separation in December 2022, welcomed six children together: Logan, Madison, Hunter, (Robert) Garrison, Gabriel (Gabe), and Savanah.

She became a grandparent in 2017 when her daughter Madison and husband Caleb Bush, who she wed in 2016, welcomed their first child together. The couple share three children: Axel, Evie, and Josephine.

Janelle’s photo also featured her children’s significant others, including Bush.

Logan got married to his fiancée, Michelle Petty, in October 2022. Hunter is also in a relationship with girlfriend Audrey Hubert, who has attended several family events.

Janelle and Kody Brown posted the same announcement on March 5, writing that their 25-year-old son had died.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle Brown’s post reads.

“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

Kody Brown shared the same announcement on his page and photos of their son in uniform.

In a statement to TODAY.com, a spokesperson from Arizona’s Flagstaff Police Department confirmed Garrison Brown’s death.

“It is with great sadness I confirm Mr. Robert Garrison Brown was located in his residence deceased,” the release stated, going on to confirm that Garrison Brown’s younger brother, Gabe Brown, was at the home when police responded.

Police said there was no indication of foul play and detectives are still investigating.

The Brown family has long been the subject of the TLC show “Sister Wives.”

“We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown,” the network said in a statement to NBC News. “We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
