Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie are currently serving their 19 years of imprisonment. They were found guilty of some serious crimes like tax evasion and bank fraud. However, the couple is still trying their best to get out of prison, as they don’t see themselves as criminals.
Amid all this, Todd has some worries related to his potential prison transfer. He doesn’t want to move anywhere else and is concerned about the same. But why isn’t he willing to relocate? Why is Todd hesitant about that?
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Worried About A Potential Prison Transfer
Todd has been busy exposing his prison in FPC Pensacola. He openly talked about the inhumane conditions in which the prisoners were surviving and spilled tea regarding the same.
But when it comes to moving out from there and going to another prison, Todd seemed to be reluctant. His attorney, Jay Surgent, recently revealed that his client is “really worried” about a “potential prison transfer.”
Jay explained that the Chrisley Knows Best star believes that if he moves to another prison, the guards and officials of the new facility will end up retaliating against him. He is afraid because he has been raising his voice against the “living conditions” of his current pad, because of which new authorities could possibly “retaliate.”
Apparently, Todd has talked about the food, mold, and bad plumbing of FPC, which was well documented by the prison. Hence, there is a fair chance that the other prison officials will end up “taking aim at him.”
But for now, the entire situation is “hypothetical.” This is because the Chrisley Knows Best star hasn’t received any kind of “formal notice of transfer” from the authorities. But if in case, the celeb has to leave Florida, he would possibly end up getting a “federal” system and not a “state prison.”
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Is Concerned About Savannah Not Visiting Him
Savannah never fails to visit her parents in prison. She conveys their messages to each other and acts as a mediator. Apparently, Julie is in Kentucky, while Todd is in Pensacola. So, their daughter is able to strike a perfect balance between both the Chrisley Knows Best stars.
But if in case, Todd has to leave Pensacola, it would become really difficult for Savannah to manage. Hence, he is hesitating to move away from his current prison.
A spokesperson from the Federal Bureau of Prisons talked about the same. They revealed that they are not supposed to be commenting about it. However, it explained that it usually reassigns inmates for numerous reasons. This includes medical needs and security reasons as well.
It further added that their top priority is to provide safe and secure accommodations for the inmates. It also makes arrangements for the prisoners to voice their concerns via proper channels.
Hence, it seems that even if Todd has opposed this move, he would have to relocate if the FBOP decides it. So, it would be interesting to know how he would be dealing with this new change in his life.
