Chrisley Knows Best: Chase Shares His & Nanny Faye’s “Roller Coaster Gambling Trip”
Todd’s mother, Nanny Faye, is a fan-favorite character. The 80-year-old Chrisley Knows Best matriarch is spirited and has a penchant for casinos. Her grandson Chase had had an experience of seeing Nanny Faye in a casino in the past. And now, the USA Network star revealed he had another experience, and it was again a roller coaster. Nanny Faye even took a significant amount of cash from Chase for gambling!
Chase Chrisley was Savannah’s guest on a new episode of her Unlocked podcast. Savannah had asked Chase to recall his favorite memory of Nanny Faye. And Chase had the perfect story to tell. He talked about their Palm Springs, California trip, which quickly turned into a “roller coaster gambling trip.”
The Chrisley Knows Best star had wanted to relax and play golf on the trip. But Nanny Faye had other plans. Chase recalled saying, “Let’s go to the casino,” as soon as they landed. That was a good decision because the duo won a lot of money. However, this didn’t satisfy Nanny Faye, and she wanted more.
So when they flew back to Nashville, Nanny said they “need to go to Indiana” as they were on a winning streak. Who was Chase to say no? So they went to Indiana to go to the casinos and won again.
After their Indiana win, Nanny Faye asked Chase for “$1000”. When Chase asked her what she needed that much money for, Nanny replied, “For gas.” Then, he his grandma close to “$3000.” As per him, Nanny said she needed the money “to play.” And when Chase pointed out that she had her own money “right there,” Nanny just said “it doesn’t hurt.” Savannah also found the incident hilarious saying Nanny Faye is “always getting into something.”
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Receive A Big Settlement Amount For Previous Case
A great news arrived for the Chrisley Knows Best couple’s well-wishes. Todd and Julie’s attorney, Alex Little, announced that the couple received a settlement of $1 million for a past lawsuit. This was a very “encouraging” win as the Chrisleys now felt more confident about their appeal.
Julie and Todd had sued former Director of Special Investigations Joshua Waites for “specifically targeting” their family. The charges of the lawsuit were misconduct in the Investigation against them in the 2019 investigation. Alex Little had described the victory as an “unprecedented” win. This was because two “arm(s) of the government” fought against each other in the case.
Julie and Todd’s former lawyer, Michael Bowers, had also opposed the former Director of Special Investigations. According to PEOPLE, Bowes had criticized Waites, calling him an “out-of-control public servant” who had abused “innocent citizens” for publicity. Bowes had also revealed that Waites had targeted Lindsie to get information about the Chrisleys.
When he could not get what he wanted, he shared the family’s tax information with Lindsie. The family had suffered many personal and financial losses because of this.
