Yellowstone fans, Kris Jenner has either done you a major favor or a major disservice.In the season 4 premiere of The Kardashians, the family’s matriarch/momager/marketing mastermind revealed that she prohibited her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, from appearing on the hit Paramount Network show.
It all came to light during a family gathering in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. “I’m so excited to watch the next episode of Yellowstone,” said Jenner, as her dinner with Gamble and her daughters Khloé and Kim Kardashian began to wind down.
At that point, Gamble — who has been dating Jenner since 2014 — turned to his girlfriend and murmured, “If it wasn’t for you, I would be a Yellowstone star!”
Naturally, Kim was confused by the idea that someone would turn down an opportunity to be on camera: “They asked you to be on Yellowstone and you said no?”
Kim directed her question to Gamble, but Jenner answered for him. “Correct,” she said. “I told him to say no… Because I thought he was going to have to have a romantic relationship [on the show].”
That’s when Khloé, who rarely has patience for her mother’s shenanigans, interjected: “But if they said they wanted you to star and [share a] kiss with Kevin Costner, I’m sure you would take it.”
“Oh, that’s a hard yes!” cried Jenner with glee.
It’s unclear when this Yellowstone offer happened, or what the role might have been. Unsurprisingly, representatives for Yellowstone and Paramount Network did not return EW’s request for comment.
The season 4 premiere of The Kardashians is streaming now on Hulu.
