Chrisley Knows Best: Julie Chrisley Served With Legal Paper For A Major Reason!
Chrisley Knows Best stars Julie and Todd have been facing the toughest challenges in life. They have been serving their prison sentences amid the tax fraud case. Recently, the USA Network fans were shocked that Julie received another lawsuit. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for her but for her son, Grayson Chrisley.
As per Radar Online, a man named Patrick Rywalder served the reality TV star a lawsuit on April 17, 2024. He accused Grayson of smashing his car on the highway back in 2022. He included Julie, Todd, Gray, and Savannah as the defendants in the case. Patrick claimed that he was injured while driving a 2020 Dodge Ram on Interstate 65 in Tennessee on November 12, 2022.
The paperwork stated that Patrick came to a stop when Grayson’s 2020 Ford 5150 pickup truck crashed into his car. He served the paperwork to the reality TV star as Todd and Julie owned Grayson’s car. He also accused him of being a distracted driver for not paying attention to the road at the time of the incident.
Moreover, the court documents included that Grayson failed to act appropriately under the circumstances. Patrick’s lawsuit demanded $750k in damages for his injury along with punitive damages. Further, the officials rushed Grayson to the hospital after the accident and his family members went to meet him.
Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Want To Toss The Lawsuit!
Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie have gained enough legal knowledge to solve the matter. Grayson’s car crashed in 2022, and Patrick filed the lawsuit in 2024. The reality TV star denied that the person had suffered any damage or injuries. They also wanted to turn the tables and accused Patrick of harassing them. Todd and Julie accused Patrick of fighting with the family over text messages and phone calls. Moreover, they asked the court to shut down the subpoenas issued by Patrick to the phone provider.
They also claimed that the lawsuit has been “unreasonable, oppressive, and a clear effort to harass them.” However, Patrick stated that the subpoenas were justified and told the court that the pair had no evidence to back up their claims. Now, the court has allowed the former to seek records from November 12-15. Fans are now waiting to see how Todd and Julie will solve the new legal issue.
