Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is opening up about the heartbreak of losing her son, Garrison Brown. He apparently took his own life on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at the age of 25. This has been an absolutely devastating loss for the Brown family. Read on for more details.
Janelle Brown Opens Up About Loss Of Garrison
One thing about Janelle Brown is that she would go to bat for any of her six children. She has been a fierce mama bear to Garrison, Gabriel, Savanah, Madison, Hunter, and Logan. This became even more apparent when the pandemic hit and it was just her, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah. Patriarch Kody Brown was staying mostly with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. He felt that she and her five children were the most “obedient” and loyal when it came to his pandemic protocols. As for Janelle and former third wife, Christine Brown, he deemed them and their kids reckless.
So much so that he wanted Janelle to kick Gabe and Garrison out of her home for safety reasons. She refused and said her kids came before her husband. Eventually, she and Kody parted ways but she always had her children. Sadly, Garrison took his own life with Gabriel finding him. Now, Janelle has issued a statement via Instagram:
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
She has disabled comments and understandably so. This is an extremely heartbreaking time for the entire family and they just need to find solace in each other. Therefore, not hearing outside chatter is probably for the best.
Can They Reconcile?
One of the big Sister Wives questions was could the family reunite for a family reunion or something of the sort? They will now have to come together to celebrate Garrison Brown’s life and put everything aside. There are seventeen children, three ex-wives, a father, and one wife remaining.
Nothing else will matter other than the love they have for Garrison. Fortunately, Janelle Brown has a very close relationship with her former sister wife, Christine Brown, who helped raise Garrison. This will not be easy but it may bring everyone back to center.
