The Chrisley Knows Best family were quite the entertainers as reality TV stars. Over the years, fans admired and were in awe of their life of luxury and fun ways. In September last year, the sentencing got reduced to 16 years, out of which Todd will do time for 10 while his wife for 6. But other things in prison are making Julie’s life insufferable. In a new statement from their daughter Savannah, fans found out how her mother is not keeping well in prison. Her health is deteriorating, which is a threat to her life.
Chrisley Knows Best: Julie’s Health Is At Risk Due To Inhumane Prison Conditions, Savannah Worried
Chrisley Knows Best was discontinued the moment Todd and Julie landed in trouble with the law, fearing imprisonment. At last, the court ruled against them and they went to prison with 19 years to serve. Last year, they reduced it to 16 years. Despite this, things haven’t been easy for the family. The couple’s daughter, Savannah, often uses her podcast to reveal what’s been going on with her parents by meeting them in their correctional units or reading their letters out loud.
In a new statement, Savannah revealed how extreme the prison conditions are for her parents. It was especially because of the lack of proper air conditioning. With a heavy heart, the star expressed how her mother, Julie, might not “make it” through her sentence if the conditions remain the same. She revealed there was air conditioning in the “visitation room” but not outside of it. The heat index was at its worst, measuring “105 and 110 degrees.”
When older people are exposed to such adverse heat conditions for a prolonged time, it can lead to “heat stroke” and “dehydration.” The whole thing didn’t make sense to Savannah Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best. She revealed there was air conditioning for service dogs in the prison but not for its inmates. She has been an advocate for her parents, Todd and Julie, ever since they moved to prison to serve time.
