Mark Your Calendar: Explosive Premiere Date for ‘Yellowstone’ Finale Revealed With 2 Exciting Spinoffs Unveiled! 🎥🔥 Don’t Miss Out!

Big news for “Yellowstone” fans!

The question Yellowstone fans have been asking since January 1st finally has an answer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the second half of Yellowstone’s highly anticipated fifth and final season will premiere in November 2024, a year after it was originally slated to return. The significant delay is reportedly due to the writers and actors strikes, which put an end to production.

But wait, there’s more! Per The Hollywood Reporter, two Dutton family spinoffs are officially in the works: a “present-day story” with the working title of 2024 and a prequel that will “follow in the footsteps of 1883 and 1923” called 1944.

“Within five years, we grew Yellowstone from a hit U.S. cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans around the world and multiple extensions—and we’re just getting started,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, told The Hollywood Reporter. “On the heels of 1883 and 1923’s success, our new planned spinoffs, 1944 and 2024, will take audiences on a thrilling, new and unexpected journey with the complex and compelling storytelling that has become a hallmark of the franchise and has helped turn it into a worldwide cultural phenomenon thanks to the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan.”

Kevin Costner’s involvement in the final episodes of Yellowstone remains unclear. Sheridan previously revealed that Costner’s exit from the juggernaut series after season five “truncates the closure of his character.”

After rampant speculation regarding his motives, Costner testified in a September child support hearing that it was a “long, hard-fought negotiation” about splitting season five into two parts that spurred his decision to leave Yellowstone. Scheduling conflicts with his own Western epic, the two-part movie series Horizon: An American Saga, a “passion project” that he famously took out a mortgage to fund, proved too much to overcome.

Fingers crossed they are able to figure something out for the last few episodes.

This is a developing story.
