The well-liked character, who had a three-year run on the show, made his final appearance in November of last year after he chose to admit guilt to the murder of Ranveer, which his mother Suki had committed. (Balvinder Sopal).
As viewers are aware, the sleazy businessman is thought to have died after being hit by Ranveer while attempting to physically assault Suki.
However, Ravi (Aaron Thiara) is the murderer because, while helping Suki dispose of the body, he fatally struck his adoptive father, who was still living at the time. Suki is convinced that she is the murderer, so this is kept a secret from the other Panesar family members.
Meanwhile, Kheerat stepped in to save his mother, standing up for her for years and giving up his independence to do so.
Fans of the BBC One soap opera were shocked by the news because Kheerat had become a devoted fan during his stay in Walford.
However, if you were expecting to see him on television once more, you’ll be disappointed. On Monday’s (March 13) episode of the BBC One soap opera, brother Vinny (Shiv Jalota) confirmed that Kheerat will be appearing in court the following week.
“[He] is pleading guilty,” he declared.
When actor Jaz Singh Deol departed the show, EastEnders confirmed that Kheerat’s arrest scenes were his last on-screen appearance.
A spokesperson said, “We can confirm that Jaz has left EastEnders and we wish him the very best for the future.”
